New Jersey Transport Moving Company is that type of company that you hope does your move but you think that there’s never a chance that you’ll find them. Luckily we did. It was worth every minute and every dollar having them handle our relocation. This is a team full of professionals as well as the staff who is always available. They did a really an amazing job. I don’t have expensive things just old furniture but it did not matter to the movers, to them my things were valuable and they wanted to make sure it was packed right. They did not just throw it down and leave they put things back together and even helped us hang up a few paintings and mirrors. It was the best move I have ever been apart of.

The guys from New Jersey Transport came on time and they started packing all the small and fragile objects. They always showed a very friendly behavior. Highly Recommend !!!
Hands down one of the best and most professional companies I have every worked with. My move was cross country to Texas and my review is based on comparison to other companies I have used in the past. Moving can be a nightmare, however this company made it clear that no matter what happens they were willing to help and make this process as easy as possible.

The initial packaging of my home was more than amazing, particularly the fact that the estimate was based on a PERSONAL TOUR of every item to be moved by a member of the company. He went through the entire apartment carefully and was also able to point out things that needed to be packed that I had missed.

Due to this there was no question as to accuracy of the estimate.
On day of packaging the crew came in on time, handled all items with care and spent the entire day packing my apartment. I personally saw the care that went into the packing, and could not ask for better.

On the day of arrival to Texas, all items were accounted for.
The arrival crew were just as courteous and capable as the one in Jersey
There were some minor damage to a few items, however anyone who thinks that moving does not come with some issues is kidding themselves. Also the crew that delivered were not able to re-assemble a few items.

Here is what makes this company stand out:
Within 24 hours they contacted a local group who came in and took care of re-assembling the items (which were in fact complicated).
Furthermore the claiming process on my one broken item was easy and the company helped as much as possible.

IF YOU ARE MOVING, USE THESE GUYS. THEY ARE AMAZING.

OK, now to the real review.

Moving is an incredibly stressful time for everyone. And to have anyone out there take away from any of these stresses, really goes a long way.

New Jersey Transport really took away one of the biggest stresses of moving: The move itself.

Not only were the communicative from the instant I asked them for a quote, but they were one of the only companies whose quote was actually within $100 of their initial quote.

A lot of companies get your foot in the door with a lowball quote, but once you are having a back-and-forth, the quote goes through the roof. They’re hoping that you’ve invested enough time with them that you won’t bother going to someone else.

The final payment was only $50 higher than their initial quote, which was pretty cheap already.

They made adjustments for me concerning the time of the move, and arrived a little earlier than they said they would.

Four movers came in, completely professional and all business, and wrapped/taped up ALL of my stuff so none of it would break (none of it did), and had me out of my old apartment and into my new one in two hours flat.

Communicative, professional, relatively cheap.

If you want to use a moving company, could not recommend this one more highly.

Many people told me about how good New Jersey Transport inc Moving Company is but I only believed it after I hired them. Getting a quote from them was no problem and they quoted quite inexpensively too. The movers arrived on time with proper tools and loads of packing materials. They took great care of my belongings while packing and loading them. The delivery was made on time. Not even one item was damaged. I certainly understand now why so many people love this company so much.

I never imagined every piece of my belongings would travel completely unbroken and undamaged all the way. They were experienced enough to know what to do and how to do it. They very efficiently packed up all my belongings and then loaded them on to the truck. Selecta Flooring removed carpeting in a few areas, sanded all the floors (3br, living room and 9ft hallway), stained and finished - everything was dry and ready to move in within just 8 days. We picked our stain and finish directly on the floors, so we knew how it will look finished, and we are very happy how they turned out - exactly how we wanted them. After all the work was done I contacted Selecta Flooring again, just to get a recommendation on the wood floor cleaning products they'd recommend, and they responded that day with a link to the good stuff - I ordered it and now I can relax: I got beautiful hardwood floors, I paid a reasonable price for quality work, and I know I have a great cleaning product to maintain my gorgeous floors - bringing my home value up. We were able to get natural wood white oak floors for just a tiny bit more than the competitors were offering for pressed, thin, chemical-laden bamboo. We … More considered the price very reasonable for the service, and after they completed our dining room, three bedrooms and upstairs hallway in ONE DAY, we would have paid 3x over for the convenience alone. The team of workers, led by Mike, were so fast and professional. They arrived at 730am and by the time we got to the house at 745am, literally, the carpets were already totally gone from the entire upstairs. By 5pm they were vacuumed, cleaned and packing up. They were also able to match our existing original hardwood in color and size, and built us a transition strip for a completely separate room doorway on the spot. We are extremely satisfied and would 100% recommend these men!

Great ExperienceI recently used New Jersey Transport to Move from New York to Florida. I got calls from several companies and felt that I got the most information from New Jersey Transport. The person I spoke to told me everything I needed to do to make sure I had no surprises on the day of the move. He was very thorough and spent time to make sure I understood everything. The day of the move went smooth and the price quoted did go up slightly because I didn't have a box for the tv's or a mattress cover for my box spring and mattress . Great Move with NJ TransportNJ Transport did a Great Job Moving my Mom down to Florida. My Mom is 74 and wasn't able to pack her house by herself. The movers came and packed everything in less than 3 hours. Everything was labeled, inventoried and loaded on the truck. The delivery was 2 days late but the weather was treacherous so I understand that. The delivery guys was awesome. They staged her furniture and even set her her TV. IF YOU ARE MOVING, USE THESE GUYS. THEY ARE AMAZING. OK, now to the real review. Moving is an incredibly stressful time for everyone. And to have anyone out there take away from any of these stresses, really goes a long way. New Jersey Transport really took away one of the biggest stresses of moving: The move itself. Not only were the communicative from the instant I asked them for a quote, but they were one of the only companies whose quote was actually within $100 of their initial quote. A lot of companies get your foot in the door with a lowball quote, but once you are having a back-and-forth, the quote goes through the roof. They're hoping that you've invested enough time with them that you won't bother going to someone else. The final payment was only $50 higher than their initial quote, which was pretty cheap already. They made adjustments for me concerning the time of the move, and arrived a little earlier than they said they would. Four movers came in, completely professional and all business, and wrapped/taped up ALL of my stuff so none of it would break (none of it did), and had me out of my old apartment and into my new one in two hours flat. Communicative, professional, relatively cheap. If you want to use a moving company, could not recommend this one more highly.

My boyfriend and I decided to hire New Jersey Transport to assist us with our local move. I heard of this company from an old coworker of mine whom had used them to move her family. My representative was very nice and immediately offered to send someone to my home in order to provide me with an accurate estimate. This was so appreciated especially since all of the other companies that I had contacted, denied me of a free in home quote. A young gentleman came to my home and went over all of the packing that needed to be done as well as helpful tips in order to make my move go smoothly. On the actual moving day, my crew arrived early and ready to work. The whole move only took four hours, which still gave us enough time to make it to work! We definitely would use this company again if we decide to move again. I recommend New Jersey Transport to anyone looking for a mover.

The experience with this company was the absolute worst that we have ever experienced. The customer service is only good until you have contracted with them. They do not return phone calls or tell the truth about the delivery of your things. I have emails from them detailing one process and the process is the absolute opposite. They use a contractor to move your things without your knowledge. And we are still waiting to even receive an expected date of delivery. I have no idea where our things are or whether we will ever receive them. Do yourself a favor and use another more reputable company.
